WA Wrapped App strategy to 7K new users per HOUR (& 6-figure rev) in 10 days
#1 in Lifestyle, 7K new users per HOUR and already generating 6-figures in MRR
Some of the team behind the viral app Pengu launched this new side project just 10 days ago.
App is a “Spotify Wrapped” for Whatsapp. Export chat > run through LLM and get > Total messages sent, % people ghosted, screenshots taken, etc.
They hide half the wrap then $4.99/wk. UX is dead simple.
Started aggressively pushing on TikTok in 3 ways:
On Pengu’s page (tt@playpengu). They used the account’s existing juice to do: 12 videos in 5 days and made 961,786 views & good engagement.
That’s solid, but this is how they broke the game:
New dedicated “UGC” accounts. Found 3 new ones and 2 bit older ones that were used to promote Pengu and now switched.
One of these videos went viral (tt@lotti2059). I put the screenshot and not the video as she speaks German.

Including now some organic content made by some larger TikTok creators:
Like this one (tt@beroslife), who likely picked up the app from somewhere and made a video (they said they spent $0 so I assume it’s organically spreading in germany now).
1.1M views, 28K likes, 1.3K comments & 6K bookmarks (20h after posting)
Now they could activate their other Pengu TikTok accounts to turn even more views into even more $$$.
That’s just in Germany. They’ll probably replicate in other countries.
If not, I already told my friend in France who’s making a French clone. I assume there will be 10+ country focused versions in the next few days.
