A format is starting to become common among travel apps.

Roameo is an AI travel planning app built mainly for group trips.

Since January creators have all been testing the same format:

A travel close up shot, filmed either at the airport or in the city they visited.

• Post trip hook: “I only found the app after the trip.”

• Right after the hook, they show a quick demo of how the app works.

• Then they show how the app works.

This approach is being tested across seven different accounts.

Four months later, we’re still waiting to see if the views start picking up. For now, the app is sitting at around 10K downloads.

But this format isn’t new. Other travel apps have used the exact same approach, and their videos performed well.

It may just need more time and enough repetition before the algorithm starts picking it up.
