I came across an app that copied Duolingo’s UI and UX, but for teaching Python. It got me thinking about the pros and cons of doing something like that.

• People instantly recognize it on TikTok and Reels
• It can grab more attention
• The design is already proven to work

Cons:

• Some users might think it is Duolingo offering a coding course and go to them instead
• You could unintentionally help Duolingo learn more about the market
• Your own brand might not stand out or build strong recognition

Another smart move would be placing the widgets side by side. It looks cool and could encourage Duolingo users to download both apps just to see them together on their screen.
