A new chat app is already getting early traction through creator content.

Pager is a messaging app with one simple twist. Instead of only texting, users can see each other live through a small camera feed while they type.

The app launched one month ago and is already number 46 in the News category in the Philippines. It has also entered the top 100 in 20 countries worldwide.

Its early growth is coming from volume.

Pager is using 22 creator accounts across Instagram and TikTok, with ambassadors posting every day. Some accounts have not started posting yet, but the campaign has already reached 1.5 million total views.

One creator is clearly leading the campaign.

On Instagram, @kailyn_marie1 reached 610K views, 6.2K shares, and 3.5K saves with this hook:

“I just know he’s sick of my ass”

The video starts with a selfie style reaction clip, then quickly moves into the app demo. In the chat, she sends “I miss you” while the app shows both users’ live camera feeds. His reply comes back right away:

“bruh I’m right next to you”

Then the video reveals that they are actually sitting in the same room.

A few days later, the same creator got another 120K views using the same strategy. That makes it feel less like a lucky one off and more like the campaign’s first clear winning idea.

For a brand new app, that is a strong early signal.

Pager is still testing, but the early content shows where the product works best. Creators seem to get better results when they use the app in relatable relationship moments instead of explaining it like a regular chat app.

When the feature is interesting enough, one funny relationship scenario can explain the whole product.
