Bible apps may be trying to borrow the playbook from knowledge apps. Rather than sharing simple clips with Bible verses, they are now moving toward more structured teaching content.

The first big signal was Manna, which positioned itself as a kind of “Bible Duolingo” back in 2025

And now we’re seeing the same pattern with Bibly.

Bibly is only a month old and already sits at $10K in revenue and 60K downloads.

We identified 13 creator accounts connected to the app, but a few, including @balzac.vss, had been sharing Christian content well before the app even launched.

He is the person behind the three most viral videos as well.

This guy takes existing clips about Christianity, corrects what was said, and adds his own commentary.

“Who has the correct answer?”

The other creators follow a similar theme, their videos center on explaining Catholic topics.

“1 SEMAINE = 1 SAINT BIENHEUREUX CARLOS ACUTIS” → 1M views

“1 WEEK = 1 BLESSED SAINT CARLOS ACUTIS”

This could be the right direction for this category.

Just like Bibly, Manna with six months achieved a 4.9★ rating, $90K in monthly revenue, and over 200K downloads.
