French Duolingo Pulls 13.6M Views With Street Interviews

Since our last write-up, the flashcards and street interviews combo is still printing.

Iori Flashcards is the French language app built around a “Learn any language in 30 days” promise.

Instead of running a ton of formats, they’re still basically shipping the same repeatable street-interview skits, just at higher volume now.

But this time around, they’re delivering this content in English, which suggests that they are finally expanding their playbook to travel beyond FrenchTok.

In the last 30 days, the network pulled 13.6M views.

The format: “language surprise” interview.

The interviewer asks where someone is from and what language they speak… then suddenly switches into that language fluently. The payoff is always the same: “I learned it with Iori.”

Two recent winners from @ioriflashcards:

3.5M views

3.5M views

“Surprising Japan people by speaking…” (same structure, different country hook).

And they’re repackaging the same clips across platforms too, the second one was reposted on Reels and pulled 1.4M views.
