This Study app format strategy is making a hard comeback on StudyTok (it actually never left) and exploding again, with different apps using it and getting multi-million views.

We noticed it first a few weeks ago, but the earliest big example was in a Turbolearn video.

The format works like this: you film yourself studying, while an AI voice talks in the background.

The AI suddenly coughs.

You cut to a one-second slow-motion shocked reaction, then grab your phone, turn it toward the screen, pause the AI podcast and ask why it coughed.

The AI replies that it cannot cough and gives some explanation.

Turbo AI did not just post it once. They repeated the format again here:

Then we found another app, Studley AI.

They work with more than 100 creators and they are using the same format, including a video that reached 7.4M views.

The creator’s account is interesting too. If you look closely, they began with a totally different style, tested a bunch of StudyTok formats and eventually landed on this one, copying the original almost frame by frame.
