A Spanish social app got 8.5 million views from 440 videos.

It is an app to make friends IRL that launched some time ago and focused mainly on the Spanish market and Spanish content.

Their best performing hook across three accounts is very simple:

“Tired of not having friends?”

It is a three slide carousel followed by “I got you”. They used this hook three times and it went viral. It does not even mention the app name.

They are now testing other group based formats, but those are not getting many views yet.

One of their other accounts is posting more advanced formats and it oddly looks like it is run by an intern or employee, since everything seems to be filmed in an office.

They also run a founder-led, build in public account, where they share slideshows about the building process while driving interest to the app at the same time.
