$1M MRR App Gives TikTok a Go

Foodvisor isn’t new, but their TikTok strategy is.
Even though it launched in 2016, its team only created two TikTok accounts this year. They are now testing two completely different creator strategies.
Creator @casshealth1 is using the classic “Why is English so hard?” format, but making it about calories. She films herself on the verge of tears, then transitions into showing how the app works.
“Why do calories have to exist omg”->454K views
Creator @mollyy.health is the opposite: a gym girl documenting her healthy routine.
She goes with one of three formats:
- Night‑time snack ideas where Foodvisor helps measure calories.
“I’m happy for the people who don’t know what food noise is..” → 3M views
2. Grocery‑store calorie checks
“Snacks for the girls who love to eat but wanna tone up” → 407.2K views
3. Gym body‑progress videos
“Trying to get lean? These two habits matter most.”-> 2,292 views
Despite low/ non-organic views, Foodvisor remains solid at $1M in MRR and over 300K monthly downloads, giving them room to experiment on TikTok with little to no pressure.
