When an Influencer Builds an App but Forgets the App
Bloom by Mim is another entry in a growing pattern: influencers who already own the audience, then build the app later.
Australian fitness and wellness creator Miriam “Mim” Hamadache launched Bloom by Mim, a nutrition app with healthy recipes and built in meal plans.
Like most products built by influencers, the distribution advantage is clear: she already has reach, trust, and content that fits perfectly with the app’s theme.
But the classic influencer‑app problem appears again, the content goes viral, but the app never gets mentioned.
Having the influencer’s account is a huge advantage, but it’s not enough.
You still need a support network around it, with secondary accounts, niche angles, and format testing, to really help the app grow.
Influencer visibility can create the first spark, but a TikTok network is what turns it into real fire.
