Niche Overview

Views

Over the last 30 days, the Religion & Faith niche generated around 86.3M, a big increase from the previous month (62.5M to 86.3M). The views were across 172 viral videos from 30 tracked apps.

The niche is heavily dominated by a few major players. Creed, Sanctify, and Follow Jesus alone drove about 81% of all views in the category.

Creed posted the most viral content overall with 69 viral videos and 26.7M views, but Sanctify was more efficient, generating almost the same reach with less than half the number of videos.

The top content also captured a huge share of attention:

  • Top 10 videos drove 23.2M views
  • Top 50 videos drove 58.8M views, or about 68% of the niche

Meanwhile, the remaining 117 videos made up most of the content volume but contributed only about a third of total views.

Engagement

Content in this niche continues to outperform most niches when it comes to engagement.

The average ER was around 20%, which is extremely high for short-form content.

Sharing behavior was especially strong. Sanctify and Follow Jesus alone accounted for about 85% of all shares, mainly driven by emotional and devotional-style videos.

Follow Jesus had the highest engagement rate at 34.4%, powered by creators like @timothy.brucee and @jesuslovedmarthaa, whose direct-to-camera storytelling formats performed exceptionally well.

Emotional storytelling, personal testimony, and devotional-style content continue to generate unusually high sharing behavior and audience interaction relative to view count.

Apart from these top-performing hooks, 300+ more hooks are also performing well. Here’s the detailed collection:

Breakout Accounts & Apps

Creed

Creed is expanding beyond broad Christian confession-style content and moving into relationship-driven storytelling, where faith is framed through dating standards, cheating anxiety, and “green flag Christian man” dynamics.

The content still relies on simple close-up delivery and is heavy on-screen text, but the emotional angle is sharper and more culturally specific.

The app is being woven into romantic expectations and identity signaling, turning Christian relationship discourse into a distribution channel.

Newcomers to Watch

Poke Bible

Poke Bible is entering the faith space through a small creator network, using familiar Christian hooks and direct on-screen messaging instead of hard product selling.

The content leans on moral framing, guidance-style language, and creator personality.

The better-performing videos barely show the product, which suggests attention is being won through emotional fit before conversion.

Quranify

Quranify is building early traction with a very simple content mechanic: brief time-based prompts that interrupt scrolling and reposition one minute of attention as something spiritually meaningful.

The approach is lightweight, repeatable, and easy to understand at a glance.

Quranify exemplifies how Islamic apps are adapting engagement patterns that already work in wellness and study content.
