Multi-account IG Reels Strategy to > 1 Billion Views
- in bulk recording, d2c, reel & 1 more
This legal Delta-8 THC edibles company made: $ millions with a multi-account strategy on TikTok/Reels.
They tested more than 55 accounts on 2 channels over 3 years.
Multi-account video content strategy:
Baking Bags is an edibles company from LA. They have 100,000+ customers and sell 4 different edibles – ice cream cones, cookie dough, candy, lemonade and pre-rolls.
Today they have more than 37 accounts on Tiktok, but those barely reached 2M views through ALL accounts combined.
Three main reasons for this failure:
No consistency => didnt post everyday in none of the accs
No resilience => most accs stayed active for less than 2 months
Product-focus => create content solely abt the product (visual + text)
However on IG Reels, with “only” 19 accs, they reached
– 1,017,498,890 views => 366x more than TikTok
– 939,300 followers => 20x more than TikTok
Posting 2,721 posted videos => twice as much as they posted on all TT accounts
On top of that, on IG, they have been experimenting with new hook and formats:
“POV: Your sister is an actual idiot and ate your edibles without realizing”
“I’ve been snacking on these for the past few hours without realizing…”
Hooks are slight variations of the same and video is usually a recording of the edibles bag + someone with red eyes after eating them
Plus one text hook + viral/clownlike audio song:

They post on avg 1 video daily on each IG account.
Lessons learned:
1. Consistency pays off, results can take time
2. Spread risks over multiple platforms
3. Experiment diff types of content + adapt to current trends
