19Y-Old That Grew Her Business to $1M in One Year Through TikTok & Reels

3 min read

This family-owned company has achieved over: 1.5 BILLION views on TikTok & Reels in 25 months. Posting an average of 4 videos per day, everyday.

This is how a 19y-old girl scaled a DIY shirt into a million dollar business.

Keida Dervishi was 19 when she had the idea to launch a custom-gift business. For her mother’s 50th birthday, she embroidered a picture of them on a sweatshirt and a few days later, she was starting her business plan.

She’s targeting couple’s gifts, a huge niche on TikTok that keeps growing day by day.

Keida is the face of almost every single video she’s posting on TikTok and Reels… And that’s at least 4 per day, every day:

TikTok : @soulmatecustoms => 634.9K followers & over 500,000,000 views

IG: @soulmatecustomss => 443K followers & over 1,000,000,000 views

Results are crazy, and so are the engagement levels of almost every single video:

TT => 36.6M views // 2.6M likes // 10,500 comments // 83,500 saves

Reels => 69M views // 825,000 likes // 4,365 comments

Keida says the #1 (and hardest) part of owning her business is to create content every single day.

Breakdown of her top 3 content formats:

1. Show the behind-the-scene

Many posts are filmed at the production site. Great, cause users love to access the backstage + it’s relatively easy to film in bulk

2. Share “peculiar” orders

They can be real or made-up, what matters is that it’s highly scalable and taps into people’s curiosity to know about other people’s romantic lives.

3. “She got THIS for her husband”

Great hook + surprised expression always works.

People click to see what “THIS” is (especially when it hints to spicy content).

Interestingly, last year they launched an affiliate program (@soulmate_ambassadors). But it doesn’t seem like much happened there…

Keida’s business made over 1,000,000 dollars in less than a year. Now at 23y old and with 60,000 customers, she says her #1 priority is make sure she posts 3-6 videos per day on social media.
